Style Icon Tom Ford

One of today’s most influential designers, Tom Ford was the name behind Gucci, Yves Saint-Laurent, and nowadays, the name behind its own brand, called also Tom Ford. Texas-born Tom Ford graduated Parsons School of Design, but with a diploma in architecture. His career included working for Chloe, Perry Ellis, Gucci, and then discovered that he also could do fashion.
Since Tom Ford the brand was brought to life, Tom Ford the man quickly moved further and further in his creations. After starting his business with a line of accessories, mainly eyewear, he developed also fragrances, and now his work extended to menswear, beauty, eyewear, both men and women’s accessories.
He’s chic, gorgeous, creative, incredibly talented, stylish and …gay. That didn’t matter when he featured one of Vanity Fair’s covers, fully dressed, with Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson fully naked, by his side.
Not only he design glamorous and stylish clothes, but he adds some very sexual provocative ad campaign for his works. This man is full of sex-appeal, and does not have any problem in showing it. He’s masculine, sophisticated, and he dresses divinely. A perfect fitting dark timeless suit will always be his first choice, with a button opened, with a small, but important accessory, always the right one, of course. Tom Ford is not only a truly talented designer, his life, his career, his options for public appearances, his looks, style and attitude scream style icon.
