We already know that the ’80s are taking the world when it comes to fashion, right? Even if some think that those ages were the worst in the fashion chapter how come we still bring it back? Simple. Designers have the ability to bring out beauty from ugliness and by reinventing already used trends they show their skill to adapt vintage to modern. We’ve seen vintage, bohemian, hippie in several styles, taken from the floral print to the double denim or leather all the way. We’ve seen new styles, yet we’ve seen them before.
Since the summer is already here, what better way to style it up then with a new pair of shoes? Clogs are perfect for this season. They are structural, with the bottom part made of wood to give you more comfort while the top part comes in different styles but mostly leather, in any color or even prints. In a hot day of summer, no outfit is more practical if you pull it off with these shoes. They stand out by themselves so matching them is not a hard thing to do.
1. Less is more.
We hear people say that a lot, especially when it comes to fashion but do we take it seriously? How many times haven’t we spotted on the streets over-styled girls with way too many accessories and unnecessary items on them? Well it’s time to change that. Every girl what to stand out, but sometimes we don’t even need to put so much effort into it. That’s why the simplest way to pull off clogs it’s the easy way. Take a pair of skinny jeans, a plain large shirt, maybe with little details on top or even some floral print and a bag to complete your look. Usually you’d say that this is a boring outfit, but with clogs you already make a big statement so you don’t need much more. Also if you don’t want jeans to your outfit, a dress makes it too. It can be short and pretty looking, as simple as possible and you’re good to go.
2. More is good.
For you there’s no easy wear in styling. Nothing less is enough, because you want more. Well here’s a tip to not over-style it yet to be enough. Take on a short casual dress, a pair of over-knee socks, a short denim jacket and a maxi clutch. Don’t use many accessories, maybe a small ring or a long easy necklace, but no bracelets. If you want to wear jeans, then take a pair of boyfriend ripped off jeans, lift them up a little, a plain shirt underneath, a short blazer and a maxi bag. Use some color to spice if up a little bit.
