Derek Lam Spring 2010 Handbags

What has designer Derek Lam has in mind for us, ladies, for spring 2010? As far as we can see, he's into coloring our lives with fun and colorful clothing and accessories. You should remember that his bags are a definite must-have the future season, as his creations could be seen on the shoulders of highly fashionable people, more than celebrities, right on the editors from Vogue, Elle and Style.com

Designer Derek Lam is well known for his asymmetrical cuts and his edgy designs, and he kept his signature look on this season's collection too. All that but in new shapes, he must have probably felt the need to bring up something new. And so he did, with his latest shape like the tote or another great and very successful model, the doctor bag

We loved the white ostrich doctor bag, named Penelope, featuring a black trim, a sideways pocket in the front and a hardware placement. It's very chic and modern. We're also into a certain wristlet, made from python leather, with handle twists around. This is a beautifully designed bag it has no hardware to steal our eyes, but somehow, it still manages to do it, without any special effort.

For those of you who can't simply live without a beautiful tote, Derek Lam designed one for its spring 2010 collection. It comes in two tones, bronze and silver, and it's perfectly suitable for everyday use, but without looking like an everyday tote. It's classy and stylish, no doubt about it.
