RM by Roland Mouret Capsule Collection

The RM by Roland Mouret capsule collection was presented last week in Hong Kong. The limited edition collection was created exclusively for Lane Crawford's luxury department store, five versatile garments which have been created for the likes of the Asian customers.

London based fashion designer Roland Mouret has unveiled the capsule collection for Lane Crawford.
The designer presented five limited edition pieces of the RM by Roland Mouret line, consisting of three pencil dress styles and two multipurpose outfits, including the “Attis Carre,” which doubles as a top and skirt.

For the capsule collection, the designer based his pieces on his interpretation of the Chinese style, fusing powerful femininity and urban strength.
Roland Mourent used a bold palette of bright reds and fuchsia hues for the pieces, cut with light stretch crepe fabric, with a high end feel.

There are only 14 pieces of each garment of the collection, which will be divided between Lane Crawford's luxury department stores from Hong Kong and Beijing.
The RM by Roland Mouret tops will retail at $580 and dresses up to $2,000.

The designer said he feels his iconic silhouette is perfectly formed for the petite Asian frame. “My designs are also very distinct but laid-back, sexy but not in your face which I believe work very well for this [Asian] market,” he said.
