Originally created in 1983 by Franco Moschino, and gaining popularity due to all colorful and innovative designs, Moschino has become one of the most representative brands in the fashion world, covering both men’s, women’s and children’s fashion. Consisting of several labels, Italian-based fashion house Moschino even opened its own concept hotel this year, called “Masion Moschino”.

The Moschino spring 2010 collection is fun, vivid and colored, and this youthful collection goes perfectly directly into the spring season! The creative director for Moschino, Rosella Jardini, took her inspiration for this collection from the very expressive and intensively nuanced period of the ‘60s.

That’s how all the flower prints, the crystals, the colorful stones and the little details got in. Even if it looks just maybe a bit whimsy, the collection is very attractive and playful, the perfect ingredient for the perfect spring.

The collection includes ruffle neck dresses, lots of accessories, heart-shaped hats, cropped jackets, bomber jackets, balloon skirts, delicious handbags (one in particular, in an intense pink shade with “Shocking” written all over it).

All the items covered by Moschino’s spring 2010 collection were highly feminine, especially due to the little things added : intense and electric pop colors (red, yellow, orange, blue), flowers in all sizes, some of them small, other really big, and applied on various elements of the clothing to create a really nice architecture of the line. Even the shoes were decorated with organza flowers!
