If there’s someone who knows how to release a magical feeling out of a simple pattern, then that genius is called Alber Elbaz. With his personal way of seeing art out of the ability of appreciating regular inspirations that don’t get out of the ordinary, Alber takes the usual to magical in a glimpse. Whether he chooses dramatic theatrical thematics or natural fairytale looks, the effect is the same, he transforms everything into beautiful art.
For this season, Spring/Summer 2011, Alber Elbaz prepared a collection that surprised through energy and femininity. With charming details and flawless silhouettes, Lanvin’s fashion show captured different sections of clothes, from fluid romantic shapes to rough independent business wear, fancy colorful cocktail dresses, chic metallic dresses with tribal influences and wild printed jungle jumpsuits.
Starting with a delightful appearance and a breath-taking look, Lanvin’s collection sets the mood for the Spring/Summer 2011 with seductive enchanting fluid dresses that express pure femininity. With a major accent on the waist, Alber Elbaz emphasized the model’s body through wide belts that separate the top fitted part with jewels details from the bottom, where the fluid short in front and long in the back skirt shows elegance and refinement on the runway.
Along the way, the fluid materials keep on going but soon the thematic goes in a different chapter through elegant business wear with a sense of masculinity. After that it’s time for the cocktail dresses to come in neon colors of yellow, fuchsia, purple and red. The dresses shine not only through the bold eccentric colors but also through their structural shape. Lanvin’s collection ends big time with a set of metallic influences on sophisticated chic dresses and tribal printed jumpsuits.
