The fashion line launched by musician, fashion icon and designer Gwen Stefani, L.A.M.B. made its runway debut in 2004. Stefani uses as inspiration people, Hollywood starlets, different cultures like Asian or Jamaican, types of music and her own personal style.
The success that the first collection had was overwhelming because those who wanted L.A.M.B. clothes were mainly Gwen Stefani’s fans. Her audience is formed mostly by young girls with strong attitude and point of view, so the line was more rock n roll, urban, a combination between vintage and futuristic.
After L.A.M.B’s popularity grew, fashion designer Gwen Stefani extended the line by producing not only clothing but to create accessories like bags, shoes, watches and fragrances too.
It seems that this brand comes strong, even if the prices are a bit spicy, and different celebrities have been spotted wearing L.A.M.B. designs like Paris Hilton, Nicole Kidman, Teri Hatcher from Desperate Housewives, Kelly Ripa and even Gwen Stefani herself.
In the Fall 2010 RTW Collection, Gwen Stefani has prepared a great line that defines her very well even if we’re talking about her as a designer, musician, style icon or a mom. She used as inspiration for the latest L.A.M.B. line, military wear, vintage mixed with futuristic and Hollywood starlet look from the ‘50s.
The hairstyle comes in contrast with the rest of the look, because she uses soft ‘40s inspired curls but the vintage is balanced with the hard accentuated make up using dark eyes and strong red lips.
L.A.M.B’s Fall 2010 Ready-To-Wear Collection is a line for powerful young women who are able to speak their mind through fashion and style, who are not afraid to be misunderstood and who have a strong point of view.
In this collection the pieces are formed by different items like skinny jeans, corsets, leather leggings, accentuated shoulders, animal printed coat, harem pants, leather jackets, abstract printed dresses, army pants, boyfriend jeans and wool coats.
As you can see, Gwen Stefani rocked the runway once again for L.A.M.B’s Fall 2010 Ready-To-Wear Collection by creating beautiful mixes between masculine clothing and feminine ones, colored or not, vintage and futuristic!
