Giambattista Valli has found vintage fashion as a source of inspiration for his creations. Find out how Giambattista Valli imagined the 2010 spring fashion should be.
Giambattista Valli the famous Italian fashion designer has created an amazing fashion collection for the 2010 spring/summer season. This season Giambattista has opted for gorgeous vintage inspired creations. The 1920's seem to have played an important role in Giambattista Valli's vision for his collection.
Giambattista Valli seems to have decided to reveal a little bit more skin since the season will allow it and chose his creations to have an above the knee cut or shorter. Revealing a certain amount of skin also contributes to the collections sexy appeal.
Fringes, feathers and embroilment's offer Valli's collection a vintage and elegant feel. Ruffles are also an important element in the collection because it adds, style, movement and elegance to the outfits, making them more obvious. All these characteristics are typical vintage characteristics, which contributed to the collections success.
Simplicity is underlined by Giambattista through the long masculine suit jackets which drape around the body.
The embroilments and soft materials used create a very sophisticated and glamorous look, a look which would suite every pretentious woman. Subtle animal prints creates the exotic and powerful feel every woman needs once in a while.
The materials used for the collection are very soft, elegant materials which gently flow around the body, enhancing it's beautiful shape.
The colors used by Giambattista Valli are mostly monochromatic, black and white combinations being mostly used. Animal prints, emerald and red-orange tones add a touch of color and fun to the collection.
When it came to accessories Giambattista has kept them to a minimal. Small, subtle fringed clutches complete the collection, as well as very high platform peep toe heels. They offered an incredible amount of sex appeal to the collection because of the length and posture gained by the body.
