Blumarine has created under it's creative director's name, Anna Molinari one of the most cheerful, warm and romantic designs of this 2010 spring season. Ana is known for her love of elegance, femininity and style, and this collection seems to have captured all the essential ingredients of Anna's vision.
It seems that the powerful colors are meant to express warmth and enchant the eyes as well of the soul. Warm tone color can have an amazing relaxing effect over humans and this is how this collection make you feel. It makes you want to escape to the one of the most exotic and tropical places on earth, where the sun and warm sand and beautiful blue water can sooth your soul.
A bit of retro influence can be felt in Anna Molinari's collection since tie-dye has monopolized most of the collection. The splashes of color and color combinations bring a smile to our faces because they are very subtle. The colors blend very well together since they are mostly soft pink tones, yellow, blue tones, purple, orange, green and of course beige.
The collection was introduced by a hippie, tie dye maxi dress with waist high side cuts, which reveal the legs in a gorgeous matter as the model walked on the runway. The bring pink coloration with orange and white tie dyes have added an exotic yet retro allure which suites perfectly with the following season.
The gorgeous tie dye blouses with bell shaped sleeves and button down jerseys deepen the retro allure of the collection and make it appear much more appealing. There has always been something sexy about retro fashion styles and the collection exudes sexiness in a very romantic and feminine way.
Sexy short shorts and above the knee form fitting dresses accentuate a woman's gorgeous body. The collection shows exactly the right amount of skin, the designs leaning towards feminine not vamp.
Since too much tie dye can sometimes be too much, Anna has incorporated a little bit of classicism throughout the collections style. Gorgeous shorts, skirts, jackets and beautiful simple suites tone down the collection. The colors used also lean towards classic: beige, brown and glossy soft yellow, offer the balance the collection needed.
As far as accessories go, Anna decided to go for a simple approach in order to avoid overdoing it and used colorful handbags for the outfits that needed an extra splash of color and a simple brown belt for the other outfits. They all looked incredible and very well accentuated.
