Acne Fine Jewelry by Michael Zobel

For its fall 2009 collection, reputed brand Acne has teamed up with Germany’s well known jewelry designer Michael Zobel. Zobel’s contribution meant the world for the collection, as he accessorized it with gorgeous pieces of brooches, rings and exquisite pendants, all hand-crafted and beautifully designed. The German designer find his inspiration and translated it into big rings and big cuffs; add to that the rough diamonds he used for it, due to his fascination for their incredible colors and great beautiful shapes.

All the jewelry featured in Acne’s fall 2009 collection is absolutely gorgeous. Even the cuffs that Michael Zobel designed look amazing. It’s among our favorite pieces of the jewelry line, and besides that, its price is just dazzling. The cuffs cost over $60,000! But the truth is that they are a timeless accessory, an intriguing one and they are made of the most carefully selected metals.

Crafted from 18 karat gold, the cuffs are decorated with two kinds of diamonds, black ones and champagne colored. These karats do not only look good, but their quality is undeniable, as the designer chose 0, 29 and 0, 79 karats for this specific accessory.

We also loved the violet jade ring Michael Zobel designed for Acne’s fall 2009 collection, that features a round violet jade beautifully surrounded by gold.

Also, the oval obsidian ring is impeccably crafted. Set in gold, it features a brown diamond, and it also has the designer’s signature delicately engraved on the inside.
